Liz Rutkowski: This blog is about the warriors, the fighters, the lovers, the heroes, the saviors of specieskind. Those people and organizations that are facing the 6th extinction crisis (the mass die-off of the world's biodiversity due mainly to bad human choices) and in doing so are not only saving species, but saving our humanity. For our humanity does not lie within us, but with the rest of the planet. I hope this blog sheds a little light on the unsung heroes of specieskind.
